CSŐ! Saving Budapest’s iconic neon signs with a glow-in-the-dark poster business
Share
Luca Patkós turned to the greatest classics when creating her glow-in-the-dark posters. Csemege, Kézimunka, “Óvatosság, türelem, udvariasság!” — just to name the best-known pieces from the CSŐ project’s collection (the last meaning “Caution, patience, courtesy!”).
What’s more, the cause is noble: the graphic designer is directing the proceeds from the prints toward restoring battered yet deserving Budapest neon signs. The buyers are enthusiastic; the neon owners, for now, remain rather wary.
