Many people regard these signs as valuable parts of the capital worth preserving, and therefore either oppose their dismantling or advocate moving them into museums. The project called CSŐ! aims to save and repair illuminated signs. We spoke with the project’s originator, Luca Patkós, who raises money for restoring individual neon signs by selling glow-in-the-dark posters adorned with her favourite slogans and emblems.
