Saving neon signs with CSŐ! posters

Nearly fifty years ago, the rollout of neon signage in Budapest began—beautiful typefaces and pleasing colors lit up the city and gave the streetscape a distinctive character. Főz–Süt–Fűt, Bambi, Méteráru, Csemege, to name just a few. A true heyday! Sadly, only a handful of these beloved, glowing signs remain in working condition today. Recognizing this and raising awareness, Luca Patkós launched the CSŐ! project, whose main goal is to save and preserve neon signs for posterity. Interview:
